How to get to Lamu

Flights are available from Nairobi, Mombasa and Malindi.

Approximate flight times are :
  • Nairobi to Lamu : 1.5 hours
  • Mombasa to Lamu : 1 hour
  • Malindi to Lamu : 30 minutes

  • Daily flights from Nairobi with Kenya Airways, Air Kenya and Safari Link
  • Twice weekly flights from Mombasa
  • Flights on Request with Kenya airways from Malindi

    On your arrival, one of our staff will welcome you at the airstrip and take you by boat to Shela village (20 minutes).
